Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Tysha ("Tysha", "we", "us") is a family task and routine coordination app available at tysha.today. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Tysha you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information - your name, avatar, email address and language preference, provided when you sign up or sign in (including via Google Sign-In).
- Content you create - families, family members, areas, tasks, routines, reminders and related settings you add in the app.
- Google Calendar data (optional) - if you choose to connect
Google Calendar, we request read-only access
(
calendar.readonly) and read events from the calendars you select in order to display them and import them as tasks. We never create, edit or delete anything in your Google Calendar. - Notification identifiers (optional) - if you enable Telegram notifications, we store the Telegram chat you link so we can send you reminders and your daily briefing.
- Analytics and campaign data (optional) - only if you allow analytics, Google Analytics and the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel measure page and route views, campaign parameters (such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers), the referring website's hostname, general device/browser information, pseudonymous identifiers, and a small set of product milestones. We do not send task, routine or calendar content, names, email addresses, invite codes, or raw record identifiers to analytics.
How we use your information
- To provide the core service - organising your household tasks and routines.
- To display and, when you confirm, import your selected Google Calendar events as Tysha tasks.
- To send the notifications you opt into (email, Telegram, push).
- If you allow analytics, to understand which campaigns bring people to Tysha and whether the product's main setup milestones are reached.
We do not sell your data or use it to train generative AI or machine-learning models.
Google user data - Limited Use
Tysha's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to provide and improve the calendar import feature within Tysha, is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train AI/ML models. It is only ever read at your explicit request.
Storage and security
- Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase (PostgreSQL), protected by row-level security so members only access their own family's data.
- The Google OAuth refresh token is stored only server-side, encrypted at rest, and is never returned to your browser or to any third party.
- Access is over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
- Your analytics choice and first/last campaign attribution are stored in your browser. Analytics providers are not enabled unless you allow them.
Your choices and data deletion
- Disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings - we revoke the token with Google and stop reading your calendar.
- Turn off notifications (including Telegram) at any time in Settings.
- Change your analytics choice at any time in Settings → App → Analytics. If you turn analytics off, Tysha stops sending events and removes stored campaign attribution and Google Analytics cookies that it can access.
- Delete your data - you can leave a family or request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. You may also revoke Tysha's access from your Google Account permissions page.
Third-party services
We rely on: Google (sign-in, Google Analytics only if you allow it, and Calendar if you connect it), Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI Ads (measurement pixel only if you allow analytics), Telegram (only if you link it, for notifications), and an email provider for transactional email. Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.
Children
Tysha is designed for family use. Login-less child profiles contain only the information a parent chooses to add and are managed by the family's adult members.
